Install your domain

In this article we will explain to you how to install your first domain into Sidetracker.

Adding the domain

To start we first have to add our domain by clicking the "+ Add domain" button from the homepage.

When you click the "+ Add domain" button a popup appears. Here you can give your domain a name and add one or multiple domains. Multiple domains are often used for multi-language data collection purposes.

When we hit the "Create" button we will be redirected to our newly added domain. This page is the dashboard where you have an overview of all the collected data from that domain.

The script tag

For Sidetracker to be able to track your domain, you need to add a script-tag in the header of your sites HTML. You can copy it from the popup that appeared.

Once the script tag is placed correctly, Sidetracker will mark the domain as "Online". This way you know you're good to go.

If in any way the connection is lost, Sidetracker will show a red "Offline" badge.
